The Sonoma Jazz Festival will  take place May 21-24 (Memorial Day Weekend).  This is a major music festival with headliners including Joe Cocker, Lyle Lovett,  Ziggy Marley, Chris Isaak, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Shelby Lynne and Keb Mo’.  Last time we checked none of these acts played bebop, but why quibble when the music is so good?
